About us

There are a million different experiences that can compel a person to pursue a career in social work, all of them rooted in a sense that things can be better.

It’s something you might have felt after watching neighbors stepping-up selflessly to support each other in the wake of a devastating hurricane. Maybe it was losing a friend to a fentanyl overdose on the streets of Miami. Or maybe you or someone you loved experienced discrimination that left you with a profound sense of injustice and a burning desire to make sure no one else ever has to experience that.

Turning that drive and that compassion into a profession takes a lot of heart. But it takes much more than that too. You need a college education, and that can be tough to get. You need to understand licensing laws and continuing education requirements. You need, in your own way, just as much support as the people you plan to help someday in your career as a social worker.

There’s a lot of hard work that goes into preparing to become a social worker, and you need the right team behind you to help.

Our team understands that right now is a particularly challenging time to become a social worker in Florida. So we have built a website that helps you cut through all the noise. You’ll find the resources you need right here to get the education it takes to deliver life-changing support and services to your clients across the state.
